Board of Directors:
The board of directors has nine members and meets the last Monday of January each year and on a quarterly basis. As the society's governing body, it is responsible for the policy that governs the society and the museum. Board Members are elected with a three-year staggered term in January of each year by the Paid Membership.
Officers serve one-year terms and are elected by the board each January. The activities of the board are governed by the society's by-laws. (Available for review a Tomah Area Historical Society & Museum).

Board Members serve a three term and are up for re-election at the end of the year posted under their name. Nominations/Elections Ballots will be sent out to the Paid Membership with the current year December Quarterly Newsletter with the request that all ballots be returned to Tomah Area Historical Society & Museum by the 21st of January of the next year.

Paid members are allowed to attend any quarterly and/or yearly board meetings and can request to be placed on the agenda if wish to address the Board with concerns or ideas. These request must be provided to Executive Director or Asst. Director NLT 2 weeks prior to said Board Meeting to insure they are placed on the agenda.

All member are encouraged and welcome to sit on any committee with a written request submitted to either the Exec Director or Asst. Director as to which committee they would like to volunteer for.
